Jonathan DENIEL

Cognitive Science Researcher

Ph. D. in cognitive science and engineering, I currently work as a post-doctoral researcher at ISAE-Supaero on airplanes pilots cognitive incapacitation.

Generally my scientific playground consists in reverse engineering the users' behavior to understand and model their mental processes.

🚗 For example, during my Ph.D. I studied how drivers decide and proceed to change lane on the highway. This helped me to provide useful specifications for a better behavior of future cars' automated lane change systems. 🚗

I am always looking for new scientific and engineering challenges as part of a dynamic team of colleagues. Very enthusiastic about the bayesian brain hypothesis and active inference, I look for opportunities in this field of research with a preference for Switzerland, Canada, Japan, Northern EU and USA.
